📱 Quick tips for this screen
Studies — browse and load a case. Tap a series to load it straight into the active panel.
Drag a finger across the image — scrolls slices, adjusts contrast, or measures, depending on the tool selected below (Scroll-drag / Contrast / Measure).
Pinch with two fingers to zoom, or drag with two fingers to pan.
Swipe left/right with one finger (while Scroll-drag is selected) to jump to the next/previous series.
Hide UI clears the toolbar for a full-screen view — tap the small handle to bring it back.
Tool icons — no need to hold a finger down to see what an icon means, as holding one down would just cover the screen: ↕ Scroll-drag, ◐ Contrast, 📏 Measure (tap again to switch between Length and Angle).

NoustaView is a free, browser-based DICOM viewer — no install, no account, and no server in the imaging path. Runs entirely in your browser tab.

Built to make DICOM access easier for colleagues without PACS access, for students, and for exam settings — where Exam/Class Mode loads the cases once, then locks export for the rest of the session.

Privacy
No image data leaves your device by default — studies are decoded and rendered entirely locally, with no server involved. The one exception is Share Case (Supporter/Pro): an explicit, opt-in action that uploads only a de-identified copy of what you've reviewed and confirmed, for teaching/review discussion. Load from PACS (Supporter/Pro) fetches studies directly from your own PACS into this tab — never through a NoustaView server. Clinic review (clinic accounts only) sends the same kind of encrypted, pixel-only copy plus coded laterality/view tags, for a technical adequacy check by the centre's assigned reviewers — never for diagnosis. Their decisions are kept with the centre's own case code, and the case is deleted when it expires, at most 3 days after it was sent.
⌨ Keyboard Shortcuts
Click "Change", then press any key to rebind it. Picking a key that's already in use takes it from that shortcut instead — it's left unbound (flagged below) until you give it a new one. Saved on this device/browser only — a different computer or a cleared browser keeps the defaults.
